Vista Outdoor Sauna - 6 Person

A 6-seat thermowood kit at $6,899 and $1,150 a seat, 25 percent under the all-model median, with a 6 kW heater and 1-year warranty.

Vista fits six seats into 71 by 72.8 inches, about 36 square feet, or 6.0 square feet per seat against 9.4 for the typical model. Treat the six as a maximum. The 6 kW heater is 1 kW per seat, below the 1.5 typical, so expect a slower warm-up in cold weather.

Compare it with the Redwood Barrel 6: the same 900 pounds, almost the same footprint and the same heater, but $1,600 less at $5,299. The data does not record Vista's shape, so we cannot say what the extra money buys. The Almost Heaven Seneca costs $708 less than Vista, has 8 kW and states a lifetime warranty, against 1 year here. Redwood Outdoors is the only store, and no porch is recorded.
